A few months ago, I got a call from my agent that the actress Octavia Spencer was interested in taking one of my old books, "Cries of the Children" and making it into a movie. One thing leading to another, I have a contract with her to set that in motion--which means she has the right to find a producer, not necessarily that we'll actually get a movie made. Whatever, it's exciting since I wrote the book 20 years ago.
We decided to put this and two other books out as eBooks, and now one of them will be published on the NOOK next week! So I have to get a Twitter page started and I've been working on Facebook and my Wordpress page. And it's overwhelming, since we are leaving for a trip on Saturday and I'll be gone a week. Too much to do, too little time!
